who we are

Trinity Baptist Church is a body of believers passionate about the great commission, committed to personal discipleship, Lord’s Day worship, prayer, the preaching of the Word and the ordinances of baptism and communion. We are driven by the desire to see the lost reached with the life changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Gospel is the power of salvation for those who believe. We are committed to biblical fidelity and faithful exposition of preaching. We follow the regulative principle of worship - God centered worship according to God’s Word.

What we believe

Trinity is a confessional church that ascribes to the 1689 London II Baptist Confession. We seek to corporately confess truth that unites us in doctrinal affirmation. Click the "Learn More" button below to read more about 1689.
We also believe in the Five Solas:
  • Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible alone is our sole source of authority. (Romans 10:17; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • Sola Fide (“Faith alone”): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:22,27; Galatians 3:11)
  • Sola Gratia (“Grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:23-24, 6:14, 12:3-8; Titus 2:11-14)
  • Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King. (Acts 4:12; John 14:6; 1 John 5:12)
  • Soli Deo Gloria (“To the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone. (Isaiah 43:7, 48:11; John 17:4; Revelation 5:12; 1 Corinthians 10:31)

How We live

Trinity is a covenantal membership church, devoted to one another and to God.
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

We also practice church discipline according to the teachings of Christ.

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
